This is placeholder text that I'll pretty up later but the basic gist is Sherlock Holmes is the original infomodder, dump stuff here for him to notice, though this one's from the early 1900's so he probably won't be able to figure as much out about people from more recent times by style of dress and so on than he could otherwise.

WELL HELLO A RETURN POST.

Okay, so BBC Sherlock, things to notice...

He passes himself off as a high functioning sociopath, but he's not. He obviously does have the capability to care about people, and any conversation about John should show how good friends they are/how highly regarded his friend is. He is a genius, and he genuinely does think most other people are idiots. He can be rude, abrasive, and cruel. Sometimes on purpose, sometimes because he is genuinely a social idiot.

He's obviously well educated but with odd basic gaps in his knowledge. He's an addict to both adrenaline and illicit substances, but he hides the second very well so it's not easily noticeable. He's also an extremely good actor, and can play a part very well if he needs to, he just often doesn't care enough to bother. He has a penchant for the dramatic, he loves to be the smartest person around, but he's used to people disliking or distrusting him because of what he can do.

His fingers have the callouses of a string instrument player, and he has the stance of a man who does know how to defend himself if necessary.

If you need anything else, just hit me up at any point.

I can come back with more later if Sherlock meets Ecks or Peter, but since we actually have a thread with him and Stephen:

Dr. Strange is an American, and his dialect (a generic one rather than one associated with a particular region) is modern and casual. Since Sherlock is meeting him after Bertie healed him, Strange's hands are in perfectly ordinary condition -- are, indeed, the uncalloused, delicate hands of a surgeon. He's weirdly awkward in his hand-related body language right now anyway because of ingrained behaviors from a couple years of living with nerve damage and because he's intensely uncomfortable with the memory of the manner in which they were healed. Despite his newly regained ability to do so, he has not shaved his face since he was taken from home and his goatee has been overwhelmed by about three weeks' worth of grief beard.

He dresses in a bastardized eastern fashion. Prior to his time in Norfinbury and then the Meadous, he had been living in Nepal for the last year or so; his style of clothing is fairly specific to the order of sorcerers to which he belongs. From the way he moves in it and the evident wear and tear, it's definitely clothing in which he is comfortable and which has seen regular use. The heavy, embroidered cloak he wears is an animate magical item that acts independently of him, though it often goes limp and pretends to be a normal article of clothing while he's wearing it. He wears a high-end modern wristwatch that had been a gift from his ex-girlfriend; its face was smashed some months ago and it no longer functions. Her inscription is on the reverse, so will not be visible as long as it's on Stephen's wrist.
